Avoid to much fluff, and stick to the facts. This will help create acceptance, and help eliminate rejections. Understand that though your press release may go to big wire services like the Associated Press (AP), unless you are a journalist, known by the editor, have establish credibility, or have earth shattering news, you will probably not get picked up.
